August 19 was a great day for our 6th annual club picnic. This year, Phil, N9LAH, and XYL Cindy hosted the big event at their QTH in Chebanse. The members enjoyed the delightful weather, wonderful food and a perfect location. Phil and Cindy really went all out and the pitch-in food items were both plentiful and delicious. A split-the-pot drawing was won by Mike, K9AJ, who went home with $58 more than he had expected. Bean bag games were fun and the champs were Bob, N9ORD and Lori, the XYL of Joe, KC9RNK. Who was there? In all, 30 members and guests PLUS two junior operators (courtesy of Joe KC9RNK and Lori).
